Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rudi Dassler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Marfaker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dassler tries for a takedown but Marfaker sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Dassler closes the distance and pushes Marfaker back into the cage.

Dassler has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Marfaker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Marfaker might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dassler haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Dassler is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Marfaker can do to turn this around?

It looks like Rudi Dassler has been cut.

Dassler shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dassler showed some decent athleticism there.

Dassler is looking for a kimura but Marfaker is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Dassler to get the leverage.

Dassler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Marfaker is just riding it out for now. Dassler eventually gives up the hold.

Marfaker has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dassler is working away from the top position though.

Marfaker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dassler is looking to work some ground and pound but Marfaker has wrist control.
Dassler wants to pass the guard but Marfaker is keeping the position.

Dassler is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Marfaker is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Marfaker has escaped and now he's on top!

Dassler has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Marfaker is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Dassler.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Marfaker throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Marfaker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Marfaker connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dassler. Dassler circles away out of range and recomposes himself.

Marfaker has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

That was a close second round but I would say that Rudi Dassler will probably get the nod.

Marfaker dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dassler. That did some damage!
Marfaker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Dassler moves away.
Dassler dives in for a single leg takedown but Marfaker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Dassler drops back, looking for a kneebar! Marfaker looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Marfaker looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Marfaker!

Dassler isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Marfaker stacks Dassler on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Marfaker!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Rudi Dassler.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dassler, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
