Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Henry Trickett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jodey Perry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Henry Trickett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jodey Perry !
The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Perry .
The fight stays on the outside here - Trickett looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Trickett feints a jab promting Perry to slip. Trickett then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Perry slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Perry fails with a takedown attempt.
Trickett clinches with his opponent.
Trickett breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Perry fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Henry Trickett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jodey Perry .
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Trickett scores with a body shot.
Trickett scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Trickett closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Trickett goes for a takedown attempt but Perry pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Trickett pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Perry swats away the attempt to clinch by Trickett.
Perry feints and as Trickett raises his hands in defense, Perry changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Perry wants to pass the guard but Trickett is keeping the position.
Trickett looking for a guillotine here but Perry defends easily.
Trickett is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Perry defends well.
Perry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Trickett. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Trickett keeping moving, preventing Perry from controlling successfully.
Trickett escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Perry gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Trickett is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Trickett has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Perry can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Trickett is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Perry defends well.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Perry shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Trickett manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Trickett is looking to cinch up a triangle. Perry throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Trickett's body to avoid the submission. Trickett has instead reached around Perry 's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Trickett arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
