The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nova looks to land a left hand but Haas moved out of range nicely.
Haas replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Nova blocks it well.

Haas tries to land a front kick but Nova steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Haas tries to roll over but Nova keeps him under control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nova with the ground and pound but Haas uses the opportunity to regain guard.
Nova has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Haas pulls Nova in close to prevent any damage.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

That was a close round but I would say that Viktor Nova will probably get the nod.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Haas swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Haas looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Haas lands a big head kick that sends Nova tumbling to the mat! Haas takes a step backwards and waves Nova back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Nova is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Haas shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Nova takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Haas sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Nova bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Vaas Haas!
A less than humble Vaas Haas misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
