Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Droxx Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donatello Turtell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Donatello Turtell was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Smith gets the takedown into side control.
Turtell pushes Smith away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Smith gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Smith creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Turtell sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Turtell is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Smith is looking to take a break and control but Turtell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Turtell pushes Smith away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Smith gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith controlling the position.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Turtell can do anything to dispel that myth.
Smith tries to move into full mount but can't pass Turtell's legs.

Smith tries for a kimura but Turtell is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Smith trying to control the action but Turtell is working from the bottom.
Turtell is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Smith with a poor takedown

Smith is looking to slow Turtell down with leg kicks.
Smith tries to clinch up.
Turtell connects with a good right hand that stumbles Smith. Smith circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Turtell scores with a three punch combo!

It looks like Droxx Smith has been cut.
Turtell moves out of range as Smith throws a body kick.
Smith fails with the takedown.

Turtell stuffs the takedown.

Smith is breathing heavily.
Smith tries to clinch up.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Turtell! But no joy.
Turtell's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Turtell duly obliges.

Smith is rocked!
Turtell lands a big right hook! Smith looks hurt but is still standing! Turtell lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Smith falls down and Turtell dives in with a huge hammer fist! Smith's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Turtell runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
