The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowman misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Bowman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Bowman or perhaps it was just good defense by Grady which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lewis Bowman. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Grady moves into the clinch.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Grady is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Grady has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Bowman doesn't defend quickly enough and Grady has managed to lock this one up! Can Bowman escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Grady on a fantastic submission victory.
