Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cletus Kasady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eder Falcao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Eder Falcao will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasady is trying hard to land a takedown here. Falcao sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Kasady seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Falcao for as long as he can get away with.
We've been hearing good reports from Kasady's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Falcao throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kasady sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Falcao throws a series of punches but Kasady moves out of range.
Kasady tries to counter with a takedown but Falcao is quick to defend against it.

That was a close round but I would say that Cletus Kasady will probably get the nod.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
