Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between ange fili (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conner Mcloed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ange fili had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcloed moves in looking to clinch but fili pushes him off.
Horrible takedown by Mcloed or perhaps it was just good defense by fili which made him look bad.
Mcloed fails in his attempt to clinch.
Mcloed wants to clinch up but fili keeps it at a distance.
Mcloed avoids a kick to the body.

Mcloed looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mcloed thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed fili's head.
fili has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mcloed is working away from the top position though.
fili wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Mcloed is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. fili doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mcloed.

fili looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
fili is looking to control Mcloed's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can fili avoid being mounted?
Mcloed misses with a head shot. fili uses the momentum to regain guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Mcloed tries to close the distance and clinch but fili swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
fili tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Mcloed counters by clinching up.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Mcloed tries to land knees in the clinch but fili avoids the damage to the body.

Mcloed breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
fili wants to clinch but Mcloed slips to the side

and Mcloed counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mcloed.
fili tries to pull guard but Mcloed holds him up against the ropes and eventually fili drops back down to his feet.
Mcloed throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but fili blocks it with crossed arms.
fili looking for a takedown.
fili takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like ange fili has been cut.
fili is breathing heavily.
Mcloed gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from fili.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for ange fili. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Mcloed dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the ropes.
Mcloed comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
fili is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Mcloed gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Mcloed doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
fili wants to control from the top but Mcloed keeps moving.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

fili frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
fili wants to control the pace but Mcloed is squirming around nicely.
Mcloed sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
fili is taking a breather. Mcloed says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
fili stops Mcloed from getting back to his feet.

Mcloed trying to get back to full guard but fili takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Mcloed tries to hold on but fili postures up.
fili works his way to his opponent's back.
