Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gernot Lechner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lechner comes to the cage accompanied by Final Countdown by Europe. Tiago Dias is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lechner motions for Dias to come forward. Lechner throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Dias slips a jab and a cross from Lechner.
Dias takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Horrible takedown by Dias or perhaps it was just good defense by Lechner which made him look bad.

Lechner looks to land a combination. Dias sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Dias closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Lechner rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dias moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Dias looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Dias shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Lechner as he jumps to the side.

Lechner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Dias shoots in looking for a takedown. Lechner tries to sprawl out of it but Dias keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lechner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Dias is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lechner.

Lechner could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lechner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Dias.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dias buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

Tiago Dias showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Gernot Lechner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Dias changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lechner looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Lechner parries the strikes from Dias easily there. Dias is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Lechner to escape.
