West comes into the arena with J.Cole - No Role Modelz blaring out of the sound system. Andrew West could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Jens Klandtman's chin.

The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Dirk Anderson and Michael Johnstone.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
West darts in looking for a takedown but Klandtman gets double underhooks and turns West into the cage.
West is trying hard to land a takedown here. Klandtman sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
West misses with a hook.
Klandtman slips under a jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from West. Klandtman does a little dance to reset his feet.

Klandtman darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
West keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
West wants to get back to full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Klandtman seems to be looking for submissions.

Jens Klandtman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Klandtman tries to score a power double leg takedown but West sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Klandtman somewhat.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Andrew West.
I think Klandtman has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
