Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Seweryn Dracki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gioros Malaks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Seweryn Dracki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Gioros Malaks!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Dracki.
Dracki looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Dracki motions for Malaks to come forward. Dracki throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Dracki drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Malaks is not content to let Dracki control the position.
We've been hearing good reports from Dracki's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Malaks tries to bench press Dracki off him but Dracki keeps the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Dracki is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Malaks will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Malaks can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee asks Dracki politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Dracki prefers to stall for the moment though.

Dracki wants to break free but Malaks has control.

Malaks tries to keep at a distance but Dracki has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dracki tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Malaks swivels and escapes.
Malaks throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Dracki on the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Malaks is trying to force a seperation but Dracki has the dominant position.
Dracki really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dracki is trying to break the clinch but Malaks has him pressed against the cage.
Dracki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Malaks pulls his leg out and moves away.
Malaks misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dracki shoots for a takedown but Malaks saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Dracki ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Malaks moves away.

Dracki has closed the distance and engaged Malaks in a clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Seweryn Dracki will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Malaks looks to land a combination but Dracki avoids it well.

Malaks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Malaks stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Malaks wants it to stay on the feet.

Dracki manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Malaks on his heels. He'll look to pass Malaks's guard now, I'm sure.

Malaks might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dracki haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Dracki is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dracki will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Malaks pushes Dracki off and scrambles back to his feet.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Dracki.
Dracki shoots in for a double leg but Malaks sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Dracki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Malaks is fending him off so far but Dracki persists. Nope, Malaks circles away and we're back to standing.

As Dracki backs off Malaks throws a huge counter combo but Dracki manages to avoid it all.

Malaks has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

and Malaks counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Dracki shoots for a double leg takedown but Malaks sprawls well. He's pushed Dracki's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Malaks pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Dracki back to the cage. Malaks follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

Dracki dives in and grabs Malaks's left leg, looking for a takedown. Malaks pushes down on Dracki's head and hops out.
Oh Dracki is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dracki tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Malaks manages to circle out of the way.
Malaks tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Dracki shoots in looking for a takedown. Malaks tries to sprawl out of it but Dracki keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Malaks manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Gioros Malaks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Malaks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Malaks throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Dracki.

Dracki manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Malaks on his heels. He'll look to pass Malaks's guard now, I'm sure.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Dracki goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Dracki moves into the clinch successfully.
Dracki is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Dracki shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Malaks is trying to defend but Dracki finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

I would just about give that final round to Gioros Malaks.
I think Malaks has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
