Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Muhammed Al Mustapha!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Mustapha circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Al Mustapha sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.

Smith is looking to clinch but Al Mustapha is avoiding it.
Al Mustapha drives through with a takedown into guard.
Smith pushes Al Mustapha off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Smith moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
John Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Al Mustapha sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat.
Smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Al Mustapha pinned against the cage. Al Mustapha gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
A countering left hand to the body from Al Mustapha misses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Smith. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Al Mustapha scores with a kick to the body.

Smith pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Al Mustapha scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Smith tries to keep at a distance but Al Mustapha has taken the fight into the clinch.
Smith prevents the takedown attempt.
Al Mustapha changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Smith fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Al Mustapha tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Smith defends well and Al Mustapha ends up having to push Smith into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Al Mustapha comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Smith scoring well with a low kick there.
Smith throws a right hand that Al Mustapha ducks under and follows up with a left that Al Mustapha also avoids with ease.
Al Mustapha wants to counter the offense by Smith and move into the clinch position.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Al Mustapha throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Smith tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Al Mustapha is in Smith's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Al Mustapha is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Let's hope that Al Mustapha has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Al Mustapha has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Smith is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Al Mustapha yanks on the arm and Smith is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Al Mustapha.
