The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Colin Fray and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byrd showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dmitriov.
Dmitriov connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Good exchange - Dmitriov coming out on top.
It looks like Jamison Byrd has been cut.
Byrd gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Dmitriov gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Byrd is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nikolai Dmitriov!
Nikolai Dmitriov spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
