PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dick Dicksson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Keller throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Keller is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Dicksson.
Keller shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dicksson as he avoids it easily.
Keller fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dicksson manages to avoid it.
Dicksson throws a head kick that misses.

Dicksson closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Keller is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Dicksson not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Dicksson is pressing down on Keller's thigh, looking to free his foot. Keller is holding on for now.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Keller is on top in guard.

Dicksson is looking for a triangle but Keller pushes his legs off easily.

Dicksson manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Keller tries to clinch but Dicksson is having none of it.

Keller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Dicksson, pushing him back against the cage.

Dicksson has Keller pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Keller manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Keller wants to break free but Dicksson has control.

Keller escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Dicksson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Chris Keller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dick Dicksson.

Keller feints and as Dicksson raises his hands in defense, Keller changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Keller wants to stand but Dicksson has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Keller sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Dicksson's guard.

Keller stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Dicksson to get to his feet.
Dicksson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Keller fails to land with a series of punches.

Dicksson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Keller had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Dicksson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Keller Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Dicksson's back instead.

Keller is trying to stick to Dicksson's back but Dicksson is turning into Keller. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Keller's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Dicksson.

Keller uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Dicksson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Keller paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Keller drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Dicksson wants to get back to his feet but Keller is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

No joy there for Keller, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dicksson scores with a kick to the midsection.
Dicksson tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Keller swivels and escapes.
Keller fails in his attempt to clinch.
Keller wants to clinch.
Keller misses with a jab, cross combination.

Dicksson rushes Keller and presses him up against the cage.
Dicksson tries to score a body lock takedown but Keller shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Dicksson lands an elbow just above Keller 's eye.

Keller is fighting off a takedown attempt but Dicksson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Keller to the mat. Keller regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Keller wants to stand up but Dicksson is controlling him.
Dicksson is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Chris Keller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Keller working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dicksson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dicksson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Keller is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dicksson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dicksson's back!

Keller is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Dicksson is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Dicksson flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Keller anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Dicksson and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Keller slips an arm under Dicksson chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Keller has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Keller is squeezing on Dicksson like an anaconda would it's prey. Dicksson fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
