Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Augustus Berry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Del Scotia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rocky Del Scotia!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Aafke Stam.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Del Scotia misses with the combination.

Del Scotia takes the fight into the clinch.
Berry tries to pull guard but Del Scotia forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Del Scotia has clasped his hands together around Berry's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.

Berry bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Del Scotia manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Berry on his heels. He'll look to pass Berry's guard now, I'm sure.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Berry wants to sweep here but Del Scotia controlling him for the moment.

Del Scotia should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Let's hope that Del Scotia has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Del Scotia takes the fight into the clinch.

Berry is fighting off a takedown attempt but Del Scotia is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Berry to the mat. Berry regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Berry is on top in guard.

Del Scotia manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Berry manages to get himself to full guard.

Berry wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Del Scotia is now in half guard.
Del Scotia takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Del Scotia is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Berry sees it coming and defends easily.
Berry is looking for a sweep. Del Scotia is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Del Scotia is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Del Scotia is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Berry is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rocky Del Scotia dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Del Scotia throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Berry looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Del Scotia is fending him off so far but Berry persists. Nope, Del Scotia circles away and we're back to standing.

Del Scotia moves into the clinch.
Del Scotia wants to break free but Berry has control.
Berry jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Del Scotia walks away with a smile on his face. Berry gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Del Scotia stuffs the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Augustus Berry. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Berry tries to clinch but Del Scotia moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Berry looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Augustus Berry is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Del Scotia feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Del Scotia seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Del Scotia is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Del Scotia in particular looking to stall.

Del Scotia is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Berry can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
