Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bernard Kirby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jordan Mcbride (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bernard Kirby!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jordan Mcbride!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Stewart Dunkirk and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kirby has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Mcbride's face.

Kirby's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Mcbride is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.

Kirby jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Mcbride is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Mcbride and Kirby has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Mcbride is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mcbride is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kirby sees it coming and defends easily.
Kirby is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mcbride's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mcbride's back!

Mcbride is trying to get back to his feet but Kirby has full control of the position and if anything, Mcbride has just worked his way into a worse spot.
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Kirby's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Kirby is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Kirby seems to be going for a rear naked choke. He has an arm under Mcbride's chin but Mcbride turns very nicely into Kirby's guard. Good BJJ skills being displayed there by Mcbride.

That's time! Kirby's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Jordan Mcbride comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Mcbride has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
