Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuya Inoue (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Don T. Bill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bill. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 28 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yuya Inoue!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Don T. Bill!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Bill looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Bill showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Inoue.

Inoue shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bill napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Bill holds on to Inoue's head and controls the position momentarily.

Inoue working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Inoue tries to advance to mount but Bill denies him.

Bill is staying active underneath Inoue, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Inoue looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Inoue will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Inoue trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Bill is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Inoue pulls his head out easily.

Inoue is looking to take a break and control but Bill is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Inoue is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bill doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Inoue.
Inoue uses his free foot to push down on Bill's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bill.

Bill is wriggling around trying to escape.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Yuya Inoue dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Bill feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Bill postures up and lands a big shot to Inoue's brow.
Bill throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Inoue scores with a short punch from the bottom.
Bill distracts Inoue with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Bill stands up over Inoue, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Bill lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Bill with a flurry of punches that miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Inoue has his foot on Bill's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bill works his way back into a safe position though.
Inoue controls Bill momentarily but Bill frees himself.
Inoue throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Bill works over Inoue with some ground and pound from guard.

Bill postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Inoue is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bill, into his guard.
Inoue with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Inoue is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Inoue stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bill swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Inoue throwing strikes from guard but Bill blocks nicely.

Bill is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Inoue defends well.

Bill escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Inoue gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Inoue wants to control from the top but Bill keeps moving.

Bill lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Inoue has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bill should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Inoue has tightened it up now! Bill should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
