Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Billy Kimba!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Zaurbek Tabolov!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Richard Clark and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kimba drives through with a takedown into Tabolov's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Tabolov is adopting a defensive guard.

Kimba drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Tabolov manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Kimba has Tabolov in his guard.

Kimba has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Tabolov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Kimba has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Tabolov has managed to get both his arms back between Kimba's legs - danger averted.
Tabolov is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Kimba working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Tabolov doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tabolov manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tabolov accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Tabolov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Tabolov gets to his feet and stands over Kimba, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Kimba felt that one! Tabolov unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Kimba from any more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zaurbek Tabolov!
