The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Blanca shoots in and bounces Foot off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Blanca passes into half guard.

Blanca is trying to work for a kimura but Foot is defending well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Foot really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blanca. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Blanca is working for a submission of some sort.

Blanca moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Foot has worked his arm free - good work by Foot!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Blanca is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Foot looks calm but he's in trouble here. Blanca gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Foot is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Blanca lets go of the hold and Foot can pop his arm back in it's socket.
