These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kasvi misses with a wild body shot.
Bulsara with a nice cross.
A jab from Bulsara finds it's way through Kasvi's defenses.

It looks like Jyrki Kasvi has been cut.
Kasvi walks into a straight right hand from Bulsara.
Bulsara throws a sloppy head kick and Kasvi moves out of range easily.
Bulsara throws out a loose jab but Kasvi uses good head movement to avoid it.

and Kasvi counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Kasvi scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Kasvi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Bulsara tries to work over Kasvi's front leg with a kick but Kasvi checks it.
Kasvi moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kasvi gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bulsara.
The fighters circling - Kasvi throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Bulsara! But no joy.

Kasvi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mello MMA in the buildup to the fight.
No joy there for Kasvi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Kasvi slips a straight right by Bulsara.
Bulsara throws out a loose jab but Kasvi uses good head movement to avoid it.

Bulsara throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Kasvi takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Bulsara displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kasvi throws out the jab.
Kasvi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bulsara's waist but Bulsara gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kasvi off to one side.

It looked like Kasvi was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Bulsara.

Kasvi swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Bulsara throws a head kick that Kasvi semi-blocks.
Nice shot lands for Bulsara.
