Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pepe LePew (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jonas Wolter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LePew comes to the cage accompanied by Smoke Serpent- . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 11 - 2, fighting out of New York, Jonas Wolter!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Wolter checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Wolter connects with a good right hand that stumbles LePew. LePew circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jonas Wolter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wolter paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Wolter throws a lazy uppercut

and LePew counters with a takedown into side control.
Wolter takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wolter is looking for a sweep.
Wolter is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Wolter wants to improve his position but LePew is controlling well.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. LePew lands a nice short elbow.
This has been an exciting period of action!
LePew tries to pass to full mount but Wolter defends it.
Wolter regains full guard. Nicely done.
Wolter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in LePew's guard.

Wolter wants to control from the top but LePew keeps moving.
LePew doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

LePew is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Wolter defends well.
Wolter must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Wolter trying to control the position from guard on top but LePew is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Wolter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Wolter makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
LePew avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

LePew had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wolter defends it easily.
LePew is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Wolter tries to free his leg and advance position but LePew is retaining full guard.

LePew has his foot on Wolter's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wolter works his way back into a safe position though.
LePew lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Wolter is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Wolter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
LePew won't allow Wolter to pass to mount.
LePew wants to control but Wolter is keeping busy and won't allow it.

LePew looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Wolter wants to lay and pray for a moment but LePew keeps working.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Wolter lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
LePew is not content to let Wolter control the position.
LePew is looking to improve his position.
LePew slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
LePew wants to sweep here but Wolter controlling him for the moment.
LePew keeping moving, preventing Wolter from controlling successfully.
Wolter wants to pass the guard but LePew is keeping the position.
Wolter sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed LePew's guard.
Wolter slips a nice elbow through LePew's hands, connecting with LePew's forehead.
LePew moves into full guard.

LePew pushes a forearm under Wolter's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Wolter is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
