Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Katsumi Nasu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brock Barnett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Nasu comes to the cage accompanied by Shura no Hana. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brock Barnett!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and John Kavanagh.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Barnett.

Nasu bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Nasu seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Barnett for as long as he can get away with.
Barnett is looking for a sweep.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nasu's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Barnett shoots in but Nasu avoids the takedown attempt easily.

It looks like Brock Barnett has been cut.
Nasu misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Barnett throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nasu's waist but Nasu gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Barnett off to one side.
Nasu catches Barnett with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Barnett takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Katsumi Nasu has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brock Barnett.

and Nasu counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Barnett! He's just covering up as Nasu starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
