Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richter misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Plouman counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Plouman is looking to take a break and control but Richter is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Plouman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Richter is just riding it out for now. Plouman eventually gives up the hold.

Plouman is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Richter doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Plouman.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Plouman is working for a kimura but Richter is defending it quite comfortably.

Plouman escapes and gets back to his feet.
Plouman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Richter tries to avoid it but Plouman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Richter to the ground. Richter escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Charles Richter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Richter counters with a crisp right hand that drops Plouman! Richter lets Plouman back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

It looks like Alex Plouman has been cut.

Richter batters Plouman with a massive right followed by a huge left! Plouman is out on his feet looking like a zombie as Richter lands a final crushing right hand to drop Plouman to the mat with a gruesome thud! Richter is running around like a mad man after that fight and for good reason!
