Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Deep (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Claire James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James comes into a darkened arena with his song building. angry cats talking kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Claire James looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

and Deep counters with a solid body kick.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The fighters are working up against the cage. Deep manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
A frustrated look appears on James's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Deep tries to score a body lock takedown but James shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Deep closes the distance and clinches up with James, looking for a takedown. Deep pushes James against the cage but James circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Claire James seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Deep seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
James tries to bum rush Deep with a series of wild strikes but Deep uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
