Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Graves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Santos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Graves comes to the cage accompanied by London Calling. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Alex Graves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mauricio Santos!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Dmitry Maklakov and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santos shoots for a takedown but Graves saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Graves tries to counter with a takedown but Santos is quick to defend against it.

Graves gets a double leg takedown into Santos's guard.
Santos manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Graves manages to get himself to full guard.


Santos got a little sloppy there for a moment and Graves has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Santos has managed to get both his arms back between Graves's legs - danger averted.
Santos is looking to stand up but Graves won't let him.

Graves is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Santos defends well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Graves has his foot on Santos's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Santos works his way back into a safe position though.

Graves had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Santos defends it easily.

Graves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Santos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Santos manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Graves seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission.

Graves has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Santos can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Santos wants to stand and escape but instead Graves has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Graves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Graves drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Graves jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Graves is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Graves is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Santos is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Santos has escaped and now he's on top!

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Santos postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Graves is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Santos, into his guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Graves drops back, looking for a kneebar! Santos looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Santos looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Santos!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alex Graves dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Santos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Graves circles away.

Graves shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Santos manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Santos uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Santos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Graves slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Graves has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Santos is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Graves yanks on the arm and Santos is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Graves.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Alex Graves!
Alex Graves very nearly forgot to thank GREEN!160 amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
