Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Claire James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). James is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by angry cats talking. John White looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
James throws a right and a left that both miss.
White wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

James lands a left and a right that send White crashing to the mat, dazed. James thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

It looks like John White has been cut.
James throws a series of punches but White moves out of range.

and James takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and White decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in James's guard.

White slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

James lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively.
James takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

James throws a combination. White tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
White tries a low kick but James avoids it.

White drops down looking for a counter takedown but James sprawls and moves away.

James rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but White moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
White throws a counter high kick but James was just alert enough to avoid it.

White wants to clinch up but James keeps it at a distance.

James looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

White drives through with a takedown into James's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

White is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because James is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

White bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

James explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

White feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

John White is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

James throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White.

White shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. James manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
White wants to control from the top but James keeps moving.

James is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
White wants to take the fight to the mat but James manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
James has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

James pushes White back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

James throws a big uppercut that drops White! More strikes from James and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! White lies dazed against the cage as James celebrates with his cornermen!

Claire James decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
