The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cureton doesn't manage to clinch there - Babuni circles away.
A counter left hand to the body from Babuni misses its target.
Cureton has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Babuni is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Babuni scores with a one two! Cureton had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cureton.
Babuni lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Cureton is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Babuni pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Balwanek Babuni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jamie Cureton.

Babuni manages to break the clinch.
A combination from Babuni does no damage.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Cureton walks into a left hand.
Nice shot lands for Babuni.

Babuni drops Cureton with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cureton looks back up at him and smiles so Babuni waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Cureton is rocked!
Babuni Throws a clean left jab. Babuni Twirls his body and connects with a Spinning Back Fist that connects flush with Cureton's chin! Cureton crumbles to the ground and Babuni follows up with some unanswered strikes. It's all over!! Nice standup skills displayed by Babuni!
