Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ragnar Thorvaldson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Project Falcon!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thorvaldson throws a sloppy body shot
and Thorvaldson takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
A big left from Thorvaldson misses.
Thorvaldson throws a left and a right that both miss
and Falcon counters with a good, hard body kick but Thorvaldson shrugs it off.
Thorvaldson misses with a body punch
and Falcon counters with a stiff right hand.
Thorvaldson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Falcon circles away quickly and effectively.
Thorvaldson seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Thorvaldson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Falcon.
Falcon feints and then cracks Thorvaldson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Thorvaldson down.
Thorvaldson misses with a shot to the body
and Falcon counters with a nice kick to the body.
The fighters circling - Thorvaldson throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
A nice side step and Falcon releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Thorvaldson falls off balance throwing a combination
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Falcon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Thorvaldson.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Falcon counters with a nice low kick that buckles Thorvaldson's knee momentarily.
Falcon's jab looks to have found its range, popping Thorvaldson under the eye.
It looks like Ragnar Thorvaldson has been cut.
Falcon keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Thorvaldson swings widly with a right hand
and Falcon counters with a right hand to the body.
Falcon slips a straight right by Thorvaldson.
Falcon connects with the punch.
Falcon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Falcon lands a big right hand that sends Thorvaldson crashing to the mat! Falcon stays standing though and waves Thorvaldson back to his feet!
Thorvaldson is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Thorvaldson takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Oh Thorvaldson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Falcon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Thorvaldson. That did some damage!
Thorvaldson seems to have got his legs back now.
Falcon jabs Thorvaldson to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Thorvaldson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
That kick from Falcon tenderised Thorvaldson's leg. Thorvaldson is trying to keep his angry face on.
Thorvaldson has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Thorvaldson there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nice body kick from Falcon.
Falcon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Thorvaldson's head backwards.
Falcon cracks a nice hook into Thorvaldson's ribs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Falcon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Thorvaldson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Falcon moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ragnar Thorvaldson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Falcon catches Thorvaldson with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Falcon is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Thorvaldson had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Falcon dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Thorvaldson. That did some damage!

Falcon has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Falcon lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Falcon lands a big right hand that sends Thorvaldson crashing to the mat! Falcon stays standing though and waves Thorvaldson back to his feet!
Falcon flashes Thorvaldson a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Thorvaldson's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Thorvaldson crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Falcon punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
