Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Justin Sane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sane comes to the cage accompanied by Many Men by 50 Cent. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Justin Sane!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chris John!
The judges for this bout are Josh West, Paul Gruel and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
John stuffs the takedown attempt from Sane. Sane gets slowly back to his feet.
And John tries to counter it with a takedown but Sane pushes his down on his head and steps out.
John closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Sane manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Sane wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Sane moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

and Sane counters with a nice uppercut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Sane connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Sane misses with a two punch combination.
John rushes Sane and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
John ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. John no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Sane pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. John is keeping the position for now.
John looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
John has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sane can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Sane is looking to stand up but John won't let him.
John working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Sane.
Sane throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
John isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Sane stacks John on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Sane!
John sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
John actively working from the bottom here.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sane in particular looking to stall.
Sane winds up and cracks John with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Sane is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Sane trying to control from half guard but John is working away.
John flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Sane content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
John is trying to maintain the position but Sane is very close to passing his half guard.
Sane working John over with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
John slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
John has his feet on Sane's thighs here. He's pushed Sane off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Sane screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Chris John thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
