Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Borin Chim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jango Fett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fett has chosen Till I collapse as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 11 - 3, fighting out of New York, Jango Fett!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fett lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Chim looks to throw the jab but Fett is out of range.
Chim is looking to land body kicks.
Fett tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Fett works Chim's body with a nice hook.
A cross from Fett lands.
Chim throws a push kick but Fett slaps the foot to one side.
Chim throws a shot from downtown. Fett moves away and avoids it.
Chim throws a poor cross that misses
and Fett counters with a nice uppercut.
Chim misses with an uppercut. Fett saw that one coming.
Chim on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Fett tests Chim's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Chim walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fett checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Fett clobbers Chim with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

and Fett counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.

Chim gets caught napping as Fett dives in and scores a takedown. Chim manages to retain guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fett wants to control from the top but Chim keeps moving.

Fett is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Chim is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Fett lands a couple of digs.
Fett in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Fett stands up over Chim, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Chim walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Fett checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Fett lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fett takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Fett scores with a jab. Chim acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Fett looks to throw the jab but Chim is out of range.
Fett throws a low kick but Chim moves out of range easily.
Fett swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Chim.
A telegraphed right hand from Chim misses the target.
Fett moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Fett is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Chim had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Chim throws a wild body kick that Fett sees coming a mile off.
Fett lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fett avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Fett changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chim looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Fett is trying to get an arm triangle but Chim is defending well.
Chim tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fett wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jango Fett dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Fett throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chim sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Fett bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Chim's head.
Fett throws a jab but it's blocked by Chim.

Chim quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Chim ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fett moves away.

Fett shoots in for a takedown but Chim shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Fett shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Fett is looking for a sweep. Chim is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Hammerfist, elbow! yells Chim's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Fett wants to control the position but Chim says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Fett throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chim stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Fett is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Chim with a body shot.

Well Fett has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
