Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wi Tu Lo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mohammed Jihad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jihad's choice of entrance music: America! Fuck Yeah!. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Jihad avoids the body shot from Lo.
Lo throws a lazy right hand but Jihad sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jihad lands an overhand right.
Lo has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cylon Training Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Lo throws a body punch but Jihad moves out of range.
Nice uppercut lands for Jihad. That snapped Lo's head back.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lo. Jihad does a little dance to reset his feet.
Lo looks to land a combination but Jihad avoids it well.
Lo loads up on a big right hand but Jihad slips the punch.
A combination from Jihad does no damage.
Lo on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A chopping leg kick lands by Jihad.
Lo throws out a powerful jab.

Lo throws a hook to the side of Jihad's head but Jihad sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Jihad will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lo is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Lo swings for the body but Jihad moves out of range.
Lo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Lo misses with an uppercut. Jihad saw that one coming.
Lo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Lo throws a body punch but Jihad moves out of range.
Jihad fails with a takedown attempt.

Jihad shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Jihad prevents Lo from standing back up.
Jihad thows a huge punch but Lo dodges it nicely.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lo tries to kick Jihad off but Jihad keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Lo on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Lo tries to get out of the position.
Jihad landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Lo keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Lo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Lo is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Jihad scores with a couple of nice shots.

Lo wants to get back to his feet.

Lo misses with the combination.

Mohammed Jihad seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jihad throws a series of punches but Lo avoids them all with ease.
Lo misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jihad.
Jihad plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Jihad lands with a kick to the temple. Lo shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Lo throws a big shot that misses.
Jihad throws a low kick but Lo moves out of range easily.
Lo takes a swing at Jihad's ribcage but misses.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Jihad! But no joy.
Jihad is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Jihad throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Lo.

Lo is rocked!
Jihad cracks Lo with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Lo tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Jihad pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Lo is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mohammed Jihad!
A very excited looking Mohammed Jihad made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
