The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bodhidharma chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Slinga can pounce on him.

It looks like Gun Slinga has been cut.
We've been told by Slinga's head coaches at Humboldt Park Elite Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bodhidharma crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Slinga - the referee stops the clock and Bodhidharma gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Slinga. Bodhidharma manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

Slinga fails in his attempt to clinch.
Slinga takes one to the side of the head.
Slinga goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Slinga throws a big shot that misses.
Bodhidharma appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Slinga throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Bodhidharma stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Bodhidharma counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bodhidharma lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
