The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kunene avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Kunene swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Kunene will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Pasco feints and then cracks Kunene's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kunene down.
Pasco staying out of range there.
Pasco scores with a sloppy right hand. Kunene should have avoided that one.
Kunene lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Kunene with a poor takedown
and Pasco counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Kunene is breathing heavily.
Kunene looks to throw the jab but Pasco is out of range.

Kunene is trying hard to land a takedown here. Pasco sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sipho Kunene. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Pasco lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Kunene is looking to close the distance but Pasco sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Kunene crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Kunene is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
