Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hello HowYou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Ka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Ka is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

HowYou dives in and scores a takedown into Ka's guard.

HowYou wanted to stand there but Ka had control of the position.

Ka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with HowYou. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ka is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
HowYou might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Ka working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. HowYou doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. HowYou manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

HowYou fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Ka is out of range.
Ka throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

HowYou forces Ka back against the cage and clinches.

HowYou gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
HowYou missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
HowYou engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Ka wants to sweep here but HowYou controlling him for the moment.

HowYou seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Ka looking to hit a scissor sweep but HowYou is one step ahead there.

HowYou pushes down on Ka's leg and manages to get into half guard.
HowYou is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

and Ka counters with a three punch combo that has HowYou backing up. HowYou nods at Ka to acknowledge the strikes.
Ka should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
HowYou shoots and misses
and Ka makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. HowYou really felt that one!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ka goes for a double leg but HowYou avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as HowYou continues to drive forward.
