Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hendricks looking to score a takedown here. Sakei is defending well but Hendricks drives through and ends up in Sakei's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Sakei looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Hendricks passes into half guard.
Hendricks prevents Sakei from improving his position.
Sakei is pressing down on Hendricks's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Sakei has his foot on Hendricks's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hendricks works his way back into a safe position though.
Sakei bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Hendricks's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sakei slips nicely into half guard.
Sakei takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Sakei drops an elbow to the side of Hendricks's head.

Sakei is looking for a kimura but Hendricks is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Sakei to get the leverage.

Sakei gets to his feet - back to striking we go!

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Hendricks drags the fight down to the ground.
Sakei lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Sakei postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Sakei landing some decent shots from guard.

Hendricks is rocked!

Oh Hendricks is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Sakei lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Sakei loads up on a big left hand. Hendricks felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Sakei looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Hendricks can't hide his disappointment, as Sakei celebrates the victory.
