The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lelono scores with a leg kick.
Nice shot lands for Lelono.
Strickland has taken the fight to the clinch.
Lelono looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Strickland breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Strickland moves into the clinch.
Lelono is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Strickland to keep the fight standing.
Strickland pulls guard effortlessly.
Lelono throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Lelono is pushing down on Strickland's leg trying to pass to half guard. Strickland is fighting to maintain full guard but Lelono has managed to sneak the leg through.
Strickland could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lelono throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lelono throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Strickland to regain full guard.
Lelono stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Strickland throws up his legs and catches Lelono in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Lelono tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Strickland! That came out of nowhere!
