Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bank Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rua comes into the arena with Slayed blaring out of the sound system. Bank Shamrock is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua tries to clinch there but Shamrock circles away.
Shamrock looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Rua circles away from the clinch attempt
and Rua counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
It looks like Bank Shamrock has been cut.
Shamrock tries for a takedown but Rua circles away easily
and Rua counters with a good, hard body kick but Shamrock shrugs it off.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rua lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Shamrock is looking to close the distance but Rua sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Shamrock crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Shamrock is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
