Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tiago Nero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Matrix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matrix throws a body kick that misses
and Nero counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Matrix smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Matrix takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Matrix scores with a leg kick.
Nero tries to clinch but Matrix moves out of range.
Matrix paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.

and Nero connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Nero has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Nero there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nero looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Matrix tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Nero was well out of range. Poor timing from Matrix.

The fighters circle, before Matrix throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Nero's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Matrix lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
