PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jaspar Van Clausen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giorgos Kehagias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Giorgos Kehagias was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jaspar Van Clausen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Giorgos Kehagias!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kehagias has a takedown stuffed.

Van Clausen drives through and clinches with Kehagias against the cage.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kehagias is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Kehagias is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Van Clausen has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jaspar Van Clausen will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.


A looping hook to the body misses from Van Clausen. Kehagias does a little dance to reset his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Van Clausen, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
