Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ben Gontier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gontier's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, "Home" by Three Days Grace. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Gontier misses.
Smith lands a really nice looking cross but Gontier seems unphased.
Gontier slips under a jab from Smith.
Gontier on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Smith. Smith obviously looking to wear him down.
Smith throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Gontier's head.
Gontier tries for a takedown but Smith sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Smith throws a series of punches but Gontier avoids them all with ease.
Smith uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gontier.
Smith will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Gontier is looking to counter punch.

Smith swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Smith with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gontier to score with a decent uppercut.

Despite the aggression on Smith's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

and Smith counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Smith throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gontier.
The fighters circling - Gontier throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Smith lunges at Gontier with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gontier's hand.
Gontier looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Gontier moves into the clinch.
Gontier is trying to break the clinch but Smith is controlling him.
Smith lands with a right to the head.
Smith breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
The fighters circle, before Smith throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Gontier's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Smith lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
