PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Remarcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cryvox Dall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes to the cage accompanied by CNN-Yall dont wanna fuck with us. Dall comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Skin for Skin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Remarcus Jones had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Remarcus Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cryvox Dall!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Eddie Farnsworth and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Jones appears to be looking for a big counter.
Dall throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Jones decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Dall's guard.
Jones distracts Dall with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Jones controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Jones stands and steps away. Dall gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones lands with a nice combination. Dall backs away looking to recover.
Dall misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Dall with a nice cross.
Jones has a takedown stuffed.

Jones gets the takedown into side control.
Dall gets back to half guard.
Jones tries to pass to full mount but Dall defends it.
Dall is pressing down on Jones's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Dall's legs - danger averted.
Jones slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Jones tries to free his leg and advance position but Dall is retaining full guard.

Dall throws his legs up looking for a submission but Jones uses it to pass to side control.
Dall sneaks back into half guard.

Jones sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Dall defending well though.
Dall is staying active underneath Jones, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Still in half guard, Jones seems content to control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Jones lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dall backs up against the cage.

Jones closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Dall stops Jones from passing to mount.
Jones laying and praying for a moment but Dall takes advantage and regains half guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Dall tries to roll over but Jones keeps him under control.
Dall moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Dall looking for a sweep. Not yet Dall, not yet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Dall is looking for a triangle but Jones pushes his legs off easily.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Dall is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Dall throws a jab when Jones was well out of range.

It looks like Remarcus Jones has been cut.

Remarcus Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dall throws a right hand that misses
and Jones counters with a straight right hand.
Jones is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dall can do to turn this around?

Dall has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though.
Dall is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Jones tries to clinch up.
Remarcus Jones is winning the standup battle so far.
Jones tries for a takedown but Dall circles away easily
letting Dall counter with a right hand.
Dall has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Dall lands with a nice body punch.
A big left from Dall misses.
Jones misses with a body kick.
Dall appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Jones throws a body shot but no joy.
Dall was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Jones throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dall counters with a right hand to the body.
Cryvox Dall is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A solid leg kick lands there for Dall.
Dall throws a nice inside leg kick.
Dall throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Dall misses with a wild combination.
Jones will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dall looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Dall fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Jones checks it well.

Cryvox Dall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Dall checks a leg kick.
Dall throws out a counter right but Jones avoids it with no problem.
Dall stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Dall wants it to stay on the feet.

Dall avoids the head kick by Jones.

Jones looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit.

Dall tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Jones drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Dall manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jones has Dall in his guard.
Remarcus Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Dall trying to control but Jones is working from the bottom.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Dall slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Dall trying to control the position but Jones is working away.

Dall goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jones has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dall but great work by Jones.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Dall on the wrong end of some ground and pound.
Dall manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Dall is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Jones as he works his way to full guard.

I would just about give that final round to Cryvox Dall.
I think Dall has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
