Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mario Acosta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Agon Kar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mario Acosta!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Agon Kar!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acosta scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Kar throws a nice head kick!

Kar closes the distance and clinches.
Kar lands a nice uppercut.

Acosta breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Acosta could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Kar has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kar dodges an elbow strike from Acosta.

Kar is trying to trip Acosta. He has hold of a leg but Acosta is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kar persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Acosta looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Kar controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Kar gets to his feet - Acosta follows without any prompting.

Acosta has managed to clinch.
Acosta is trying to pull guard but Kar turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Kar.

Kar pulls guard.
Kar controlling the position.

Kar pushes Acosta off and scrambles back to his feet.
Acosta chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Kar can pounce on him.

Kar manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Acosta on his heels. He'll look to pass Acosta's guard now, I'm sure.

Acosta uses the cage to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Kar lands a big head kick that sends Acosta tumbling to the mat! Kar takes a step backwards and waves Acosta back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Acosta is rocked!

It looks like Mario Acosta has been cut.

Kar dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Acosta has had enough and taps out.
