Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jack Rodriguez!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rodriguez defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Morris.
Rodriguez tries to clinch but Morris is having none of it.
Morris darts in looking for a takedown but Rodriguez gets double underhooks and turns Morris into the cage.
Rodriguez throws out a loose jab but Morris uses good head movement to avoid it.

Rodriguez throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Morris tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rodriguez is in Morris's guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rodriguez is defended easily by Morris.
It appears Morris was looking to counter with a kick there.
Rodriguez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morris tries to avoid it but Rodriguez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morris to the ground. Morris escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Morris takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Rodriguez rushes Morris and presses him up against the cage.

Rodriguez escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Morris.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Rodriguez feints a jab promting Morris to slip. Rodriguez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Morris slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Rodriguez connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Morris walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
and Rodriguez counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Morris! He's just covering up as Rodriguez starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
