PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Janusz Nowak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Roberts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts stalks Nowak and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Nowak's face. Nowak staggers backwards, shaken.
Roberts keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Roberts lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nowak circles away quickly and effectively.

Nowak drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Roberts gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Nowak has momentary wrist control but Roberts slips an elbow through the middle.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Well Roberts has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
