Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DeAndre Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jeff Lowich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson comes to the cage accompanied by Slam. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lowich rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyson moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tyson tightens his grip and picks Lowich up, before dumping him to the ground. Lowich manages to land in guard.
Tyson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Lowich is fighting off a takedown attempt but Tyson is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lowich to the mat. Lowich regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Lowich stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tyson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Tyson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lowich smiles and moves away.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Lowich drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tyson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tyson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tyson!
Lowich can't do much from the bottom here.
Tyson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lowich has escaped the position, nice work there.
Lowich is trying to get back to half guard.
Tyson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Lowich tries to improve position but can't.
Tyson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tyson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
