Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Melvin Moroz!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moroz misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Money throws out a loose jab but Moroz uses good head movement to avoid it.
Money fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Moroz looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Moroz moves out of range of the leg kick from Money.
Moroz is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Moroz fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Moroz avoids the head kick by Money.
A nice combination there by Money.
Moroz fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Money avoids it really well and circles away.

Money is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Money working over Moroz with some ground and pound. Moroz looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Moroz looks like he's trying to stand up.
Money content to control rather than advance.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Money wants to free his trapped foot but Moroz is holding on for dear life with his legs.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Moroz checks a leg kick.

Moroz unleashes a big counter combination but Money bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Money is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Moroz can do to turn this around?

Money seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Moroz for as long as he can get away with.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Money lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Moroz down.

Money working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Money's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Money cracks Moroz with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eddie Money!
Eddie Money decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
