Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Anderson Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Simon Sussman!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Elvis Blanc and Dillan Fox.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva scores with a hook to the body. Sussman takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Silva swings for the body but Sussman moves out of range.
Sussman thows a leg kick but Silva checks it
and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sussman has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

A little feinted left hand from Silva on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Sussman ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Sussman fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Silva catches Sussman with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Silva rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sussman moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Silva jabs Sussman to the body, keeping him at a distance.

I was talking to Silva's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

Simon Sussman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Silva counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
