Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ostin Haddock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Leary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haddock scores with a punch to the head.
Leary's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Haddock connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Leary scrambles back to his feet.
Haddock could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Leary tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Haddock was well out of range. Poor timing from Leary.
It looked like Haddock wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Haddock lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Leary ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Haddock moves away.
Leary misses with a hook. Haddock ducked under it nicely.
Haddock scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

It looks like John Leary has been cut.
Haddock throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Leary stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Haddock fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Leary on the side of the head.
Haddock lands a nice shot that snaps Leary's head back.

Leary on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Leary walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

Haddock lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Leary backs up against the cage.

Haddock lands with an uppercut that bounces Leary off the cage and back into range.

That has opened up John Leary's cut even more.

and Haddock counters with a one-two to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Haddock drops Leary with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Leary looks back up at him and smiles so Haddock waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Leary is rocked!
Haddock sizes up Leary with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Leary is still on wobbly legs! Can Haddock finish him?
Haddock is really peppering his opponent's head with punches.
Haddock feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Learys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

The cut above John Leary's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Leary throws a right and a left that both miss.
Leary seems to have recovered his senses.
Haddock tries to clinch there but Leary circles away.
Leary doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Haddock tries to close the distance and clinch up but Leary swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Leary looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Haddock moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Haddock steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Leary.
A left lands for Haddock.
Haddock bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Leary's head backwards.

John Leary's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Leary has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Leary there as he acknowledges the shot.
A lazy left from Haddock finds it's target.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at John Leary's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Ostin Haddock!
A relieved looking Ostin Haddock thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
