The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Runkman wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
A looping hook to the body misses from Runkman. Anderson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Runkman throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Anderson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Anderson misses with a low kick.
Runkman slips under a jab.
Anderson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Anderson walks into a left hand.
Runkman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Anderson manages to avoid it.
Austin Anderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Anderson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Runkman is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Runkman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Anderson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Runkman wants to sweep but no luck.
Runkman is working hard here to advance position.

Runkman had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Anderson defends it easily.
Anderson lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Runkman has his feet on Anderson's thighs here. He's pushed Anderson off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Anderson screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
