Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts throws a one two combo.
A jab from Roberts finds it's way through Doom's defenses.
Nice defenses there by Roberts.
Roberts scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Doom doesn't seem bothered though.
Doom clinches up against the cage.
With the fighters up against the cage, Doom throws an elbow but misses.
Roberts is trying to break the clinch but Doom is controlling him.
Doom lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Doom closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Doom lands in his opponent's guard.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Doom has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Roberts looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Doom takes control of his opponent's neck and spins him into the cage. Roberts is off balance and as he stumbles, Doom throws a jumping knee that lands flush on Roberts's chin, knocking him out cold! Oh my word - what a knockout! Definitely one for his highlight reel! If he ever decides to rob a bank and run off to Morocco, that moment is defintely worthy of a tacky mural!
