Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Harding (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Miguel Cotto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harding comes into the arena with Bitch School blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonathan Harding!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Miguel Cotto!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Jorge Garcia and David Schapiro.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harding swinging wildly here.
Harding motions for Cotto to come forward. Harding throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Cotto keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Harding.
Cotto misses with a wild body shot.
Harding throws a body shot but no joy.
Harding tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cotto was well out of range. Poor timing from Harding.
Harding tries to bum rush Cotto with a series of wild strikes but Cotto uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Jonathan Harding seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cotto swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Harding.
Cotto looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Cotto blocks a jab.
Harding works Cotto's body with a nice hook.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harding lands with a straight right. Cotto didn't see that one coming.
Harding misses the shot to the body.
Harding throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Harding lands with an uppercut that bounces Cotto off the cage and back into range.

and Harding takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Harding dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

and Cotto counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Harding throws a lazy right hand but Cotto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Harding swings widly with a right hand
and Cotto counters with a nice uppercut.
Cotto cracks Harding with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Harding is rocked!

Cotto moves into the clinch.
Oh Harding is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Harding trying to control the position but instead, Cotto has worked for underhooks and has pushed Harding into the cage.
Harding seems to have got his legs back now.
Cotto lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Harding slows down the pace here.
Cotto goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Harding looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Harding tries to break free but Cotto pushes him back against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Cotto.
Cotto lands a left hand.
Cotto misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Cotto lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Cotto is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Cotto misses with a punch to the body.
Harding is trying to push Cotto away but Cotto has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Cotto lands a left hand.

Harding blocks a body shot from Cotto.
Cotto lands a shoulder strike.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Cotto.

Cotto breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Harding takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Cotto cracks the inside of Harding's front leg.
Cotto checks a leg kick.
Harding lands a nice hook to Cotto's body. Cotto takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Cotto lands with a thumping leg kick.
Cotto loads up on a big right hand but Harding slips the punch.
Cotto's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Harding connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Cotto scrambles back to his feet.
Cotto misses with a body shot.
Harding fails to land with a series of punches.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice uppercut there from Cotto.
A left lands for Cotto.

Cotto lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Harding falls backwards - clearly groggy! Cotto dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!

A relieved looking Miguel Cotto thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
